Corporate Specialisms

The Overview

Prestige was commissioned by Ballymore to provide a comprehensive restoration of their Canary Wharf headquarters. While we specialise in low-moisture systems, this specific project required a bespoke technical approach. Specifically, the site featured 1,200m² of traditional, deep-pile carpeting. This material demanded a more intensive restorative method than standard low-profile office tiles. Therefore, our team delivered a specialist Commercial Carpet Restoration London. Consequently, we successfully reclaimed the high-end aesthetic of their flagship office space while ensuring the longevity of their significant interior investment.

01. The Challenge

The carpet’s deeper pile and high-traffic Canary Wharf location created a complex cleaning environment. Specifically, heavy soiling had penetrated deep into the base of the fibres over time. To achieve a true “like-new” restoration, the material required a high-pressure flush. Surface-level cleaning simply could not reach the embedded contaminants. Furthermore, we had to manage the logistical challenge of drying 1,200m² of dense material. Ultimately, the objective was to provide a clinical deep-clean without causing extended downtime for the Ballymore staff.

02. Technical Methodology

Demonstrating our technical versatility, we deployed industrial-grade hot water extraction (HWE). Firstly, we adapted our methodology to the specific deep-pile material. We utilised a bespoke, high-pressure flush designed to draw out embedded dirt from the very base of the weave. Secondly, we employed advanced high-airflow technology to accelerate drying times. This ensured the workspace remained functional with minimal interruption. For industry standards on restoration, visit the NCCA or explore our commercial services.

By successfully recovering 1,200m² of deep-pile carpet, we saved the client the significant capital cost and massive disruption of a total floor replacement.

The Result

The deep-pile carpets were fully revitalised, restoring both the high-end aesthetic and the indoor air quality of the HQ. Consequently, Ballymore avoided the need for costly flooring replacement. This project serves as a perfect example of our ability to pivot our expertise. By adapting specialist equipment to meet the exact demands of the material, we achieved an impeccable finish. Ultimately, our intervention provided a flawless, trade-ready environment that perfectly reflects Ballymore’s prestige as a leading London developer.
