Project Scope: 1,200m² Restorative Extraction Clean
The Overview
Commissioned by Ballymore to provide a comprehensive restoration of their Canary Wharf headquarters. While Prestige specialises in low-moisture systems, this project required a bespoke approach: 1,200m² of traditional, deep-pile carpeting that demanded a more intensive restorative method than standard low-profile office tiles.
The Challenge
The carpet’s deeper pile and high-traffic location had allowed heavy soiling to penetrate deep into the base of the fibres. To achieve a true “like-new” restoration, the material required a high-pressure flush to remove embedded contaminants that a surface-level clean could not reach.
The Solution: Specialist Wet Extraction
Demonstrating our technical versatility, we deployed industrial-grade wet extraction (HWE). By adapting our methodology to the specific carpet type, we were able to deep-clean the fibres thoroughly. Despite the intensive nature of a wet clean, we utilised high-airflow technology to ensure the workspace remained functional with minimal downtime.
The Result
The deep-pile carpets were fully revitalised, restoring both the aesthetic and the indoor air quality of the HQ. This project serves as a perfect example of our ability to adapt our specialist equipment to meet the specific demands of the flooring material, saving the client the significant capital cost of a total replacement.
