Prestige specialises in commercial upholstery cleaning for London offices — from task chairs and boardroom seating to reception sofas and meeting room furniture. We work with some of London's most demanding commercial environments, returning tired or stained upholstery to a clean, healthy and presentable condition.
Office chair specialists
We are experienced in cleaning large numbers of office chairs efficiently and to a consistently high standard. Task chairs, meeting room chairs, executive seating and reception furniture all receive the appropriate treatment for their specific fabric type. A clean office chair is not just about appearance — it contributes to a healthier working environment and extends the life of the furniture.
Task & operator chairs
High-use seating accumulates body oils, dust and general soiling over time. We deep clean the seat, backrest and any fabric arms, removing embedded soiling and leaving chairs fresh and presentable.
Meeting room & boardroom chairs
Client-facing seating needs to make the right impression. We treat fabric, leather and mixed-material chairs with the appropriate chemistry for each material type — no one-size-fits-all approach.
Reception & soft seating
Sofas, tub chairs and breakout seating see constant use. We assess fabric type, colour fastness and soiling level before selecting the correct cleaning process to protect the integrity of the material.
Leather & mixed materials
Leather seating is cleaned by hand using specialist leather-safe products, followed by a conditioning treatment to keep the material supple and protected — extending its lifespan significantly.
Cleaning process
Our primary method for fabric upholstery is hot water extraction — a deep-cleaning process that injects a controlled volume of hot water and cleaning solution into the fabric before immediately extracting it along with dissolved soiling. This removes embedded dirt, staining and bacteria that surface cleaning cannot reach.
Special considerations including colour fastness, dimensional stability and fabric construction are assessed before we begin. We identify the correct cleaning process for each item — never a generic approach applied uniformly across different materials.

Out-of-hours cleaning as standard. A popular option for our clients is to carry out upholstery cleaning out of hours — in the evening or early morning — so that chairs are clean, dry and ready for use at the start of the next working day. No disruption, no damp chairs, no downtime.
Upholstery life extension
Regular professional cleaning significantly extends the life of upholstered furniture. Embedded soiling acts as an abrasive within the fabric fibres, accelerating wear over time. By removing it on a scheduled basis, you protect the value and integrity of your furniture investment and avoid costly early replacement.
One-off or planned maintenance
We offer both one-off upholstery cleans and ongoing maintenance programmes. A one-off clean is ideal for offices that need to get on top of a backlog of soiling, or where a specific event or refurbishment has created a requirement.
For many of our clients, the most effective and cost-efficient approach is to include upholstery cleaning as part of a comprehensive carpet and upholstery maintenance plan — combining regular scheduled cleans across all areas of the office at a preferred rate, with emergency call-outs included.
